Standout for Trump in Attleboro

ATTLEBORO – Nearly 100 volunteers converged on Attleboro Saturday Oct. 5 to show support for presidential candidate Donald J. Trump and vice-presidential candidate JD Vance. The event was co-sponsored by AttleboroGOP and the Mass for Trump campaign.

Response from passers-by at the busy intersection of Highland Avenue and Washington St. was enthusiastic and overwhelmingly positive. See the full gallery of photos HERE.

Joining the volunteers was former Bristol County Sheriff Tom Hodgson, state chair of the Massachusetts Trump campaign.

“Congratulations to the Attleboro Republican City committee for the impressively large crowd at the South Attleboro Trump/Vance standout. The event attracted participants as far away as Western Massachusetts as well as our fellow Kennedy for Trump supporters,” Hodgson said. “Incredibly inspiring response from the public.”

Jim Poore of AttleboroGOP, who organized the event, said it was great so see the large number of volunteers dressed in full Trump/Vance regalia, who brought flags and signs and other patriotic pro-Trump accoutrements. “The support for Donald Trump in Massachusetts is very real.”

Several people who had previously supported Robert F. Kennedy’s primary election campaign showed up with Kennedy for Trump and MAHA (Make America Healthy Again) signs.

The crowd included folks from Oxford, Wellfleet, Chelmsford, Walpole, Norfolk, Mansfield, Norton and Rhode Island.

Steve Semple, chair of the AttleboroGOP, said he was most impressed by the participation of the Kennedy team, as well as the ‘under 30’ people who attended. “It’s inspiring to see the next generation of conservative voters here. And having the Kennedy people provides a real show of unity,” he said.
